I have never used her gambled with her but I have heard stories of her cheating people, when they lose she would turn down their offer and give them back their gilz. I mean at least she gives back the gil but still, if they win give them what they want. One day she shouted if you bet 500k and win ill give you 10mil gil. From what I over heard the changed her mind when people started to ask her. Then she wanted to make it 1mil bets get 10mil.

Only tried it once or twice not with that person but longtime ago. Simply putting it if you want to keep your gilz dont gamble! Sure you could get lucky and win double but its all chance also adding the chance of the game host not agreeing to their terms.

Safest gabling is on the game tables provided by SE. Get a good match going on the 10k tables. They should really make any gil amount bettable to stop these stupid gambling shouts in Aht Urhgan..

But they know people are stupid and would start betting vast amounts of money. Then they'd lose, QQ to everyone and call GM's, who would subsequently tell the players there's nothing they can do about it.

It is just really stupid imo. On top of that people get pissed off at her and from what i understand some of them still use her. I think they should just stop using her all together, but that is just my opinion.

Se actualy mae the gambling shouts illegal long ago evan to point banning some the peepsdoing it. Thats why they added the tables to begin with.

weeks ago, saw ruby shouting for bets, saying she was quiting and wanted to get rid of everything.... 2 days later, Ruby wasnt quiting, and suposely was betting high money and apparently lost 56 mil in that last bet...

yea but she don't do it with the tables, from what I understand *imo is stupid*, she takes the gil the player rolls. If she sees that she could lose she says that they didn't understand the rules or whatever and then gives the player back his/her gil w/o rolling. A few other things she does but that is 1 way she cheats people out. Then she asks if they want to roll.

Ok, a friend of mine got lucky and won 1.5m from her. then she followed us to Quicksand and tryed to claim the nm we were hunting. she's insane. she stalked him for 15 mins through western altep. @.@

A warning to those that considers playing casino blackjack with these players is to be careful. I wouldn't trust them at all.

If there are anymore questionable players that should be listed, please post there and I'll add them.

I'm doing it for the more legit players on this server so they won't be suckered into these things.

I wouldn't even gamble there tbh...it's too easy for 2 people to be sitting on ventrilo comparing hands, working together against the third. Hell, a friend and I even thought about doing that ourselves, but we're too honest lol...

Gambling in FFXI is a sure-fire way to make your minimum bet in profit provided the person with the casino doesn't have any limits on it and you have enough gil to continuously double your bets.

Start with like a 1k bet. You lose, you bet 2k. Lose again, bet 4k and this time you win, getting you 8k total which is a 1k profit on the 7k you spent.

But it doesn't sound like she does the 'Roll this amount and win 2x or 3x your bet.' deal.

Casino's ruin your mood for the game. On my other character I know some ppl in the social ls who did the casino lost like 2 mil and quit the game for like 6 months over it....

She says she plays all games but like i said b4 when she finds herself losing she gives the gil back as a "Refund" and tells them that they didn't understand the rules. lol so i guess she does the 2x 3x your bet deal.

ok, heres my story on this dirty player. one day i was LFG on BLM and i get an invite. apparently she has 72 BLM and i get an invite. like any other BLM i happily accept. my poor soul at this point has fell into a evil trap. she notices that beseage is going on and asks if we could do that before partying. i gladly would like to myself to get my dark magic up, ele is no problem i get that in partys and if enfeebling falls behind i can do that in sea. so i NEED this dark skill up and this is about the best time to do it. so we go thu 2 beseages and then it comes time to party. she drops party, i assume shes grabbing gear or doing something else.so i go play pokemon (pankration) for a few and do a /sea all littleruby and notice shes already out there but on WHM as a PT leader. i send a tell asking about our PT and she gives me this, "I'm sorry it didn't work out. i wanted to party with these guys anyway ^^" and i carried on a conversation explaining how *** that was without even warning me an such. goes to show even with all the effort SE is putting into the game. there is nothing they can do about these bad eggs. just be warned. this player is NOT TRUST WORTHY ONE BIT! if you are hireing/accepting members for your endgame LS AVOID THIS PLAYER! it wouldn't surprise me if they rip you off in every way possible

The second she dropped party you should have said something, not gone off and done something else then messaged her. Though i've heard and seen many things by her (she is god awful annoying and is the new Leonmarc) but if you go off and do something else assuming someone is doing something you cant really gripe that much.

Agreed. Using this method you can generally get your minimum bet back quite easily. And repeating it over and over again adds up pretty quick. However, most of this type of betting, in FFXI and real life (see Roulette) have caps on the table. So if the cap is 50k, you'll bet 1k, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and if you lose all of those (which is almost guaranteed to happen eventually if you are repeating this process), then you've just lost 63k.

The higher the cap on the table, the more likely you are to win your minimum bet each time (provided you have at least a few hundred k to back it up) but it also raises the amount you can lose trying to win a simple 1k.

If you can find a table (or casino, w/e) that truly has no cap and you have enough gil to back it up (remembering that 10 losses in a row gets you over 1mil in losses, which is possible) then by all means try it. But on FFXI you also have the added risk of an untrustworthy casino.

I've only been gambling a coule of times in game, the guy was really honest and all, i made about 5 mil off him in 2 days, betting items for gil. But eventually he almost started to stalk me, lol, sending tells in the middle of pt's and stuff asking me to come and bet with him,. Guess he wanted to win his gil back lol.

A friend had a problem with littleruby, lol he went to gamble with her one day and lost, then someone called a GM on her and he wanted to try again... he won his money back + some, she asked him to play again and she will raise the bet. He was like no I don't wanna, I just wanted to do this with the GM here. She got pissed told her linkshell, then she sent him a few hate tells. LOL. From what she said, her linkshell was laughing at his stupidness? what is that word anyways?

From what I also see, she demands they higher the bet or she will walk. LOL idk if that is what every casino does but she is just a big b*tch if she does not get her way. lol

About a week ago, I saw Littleruby shouting for a bard for a merit party. I was on RDM, I'd had my flag up for awhile, I send her a tell saying I can come RDM/BRD, (joking obviously) and she was like ok! I said, is your pt ok with it? lol.. She said yes..

I declined, if she would take a rdm/brd, I fear to see the fail the rest of the party was comprised of...

she invited a friend to a party, turned around said "Oh we are disbanding because we can't find a tank." Turns out she lied just to remove him from the party. LOL what a bish... =p

Oh well Karma will catch up to her.

this character started shouting in whitegate for smn burn pt and charges 150-200k to get in, well the ones who paid this just got their money stolen, after everyone paid....Littleruby logs out.....

it is pretty silly to pay for a smn burn. Everyone also knows what (s)he is all about. Just don't do sh*t with her sooner or later she is going to have to move servers and change her name cuz no one would trust her. When that day comes bismarck will be one less jerk on the server. =p can't wait.
