FFXI zone you'd like to see in FFXIV

This might seem like an odd question, and I know that FFXIV is in no way the official sequel to FFXI... but there are some zones that are in FFXI I hope to see put in FFXIV.
For me, the main zone would be Norg. I love the theme and atmosphere of that zone, and think it would be awesome if there was an area like that. Quite honestly I hope there are a lot of FFXI influenced zones in FFXIV, because frankly I would have been set with an updated HD FFXI.
What about you?

For me? I'd say... hmm... Aydeewa Subterrane. I'd love to see that zone in HD. The branch off spots with the mini waterfall and pool of water are gorgeous enough in 11, think of them in HD in 14? :3

The Black Shroud is like a mix of Yhoater and Zitah. Less mystical than Zitah and less confusing than Yhoater. It's not as exciting as either but it's still a beautiful region regardless

Second choice: Something like Uleguerand Range
Anything with a severe tundra environment that is harsh, cold, dangerous, unforgiving and marvelous with a majestic sense to it.
Always loved cold/winter like zones, but it's kind of difficult to emphasize detail on a system like FFXI.

Aht Urghan Whitegate.
By that, I mean their ruins.
after the country was finally overrun by the combined efforts of the Beastmen and the Far East, the empire's remnants fled. Scattering into the land was not possible, and only the citizens that adapted the nautical knowledge of Ephramad's Corsairs were able to take it to the sea. Managing to settle in a mysterious continent, their very distant descendants would later establish what we now know today as Limsa Lominsa.

Holy ***...
Is FFXI lore and location seriously have correlation to the events in FFXIV?!

There is no correlation but the history behind Limsa Lominsa matches the story Ingram just made. It WOULD be cool if there was a connection but it's highly unlikely.

They likely just saw the name of an unused city in there books that would fit the pirate town for 14, and ran with it. Not something new for them to reuse stuff, example; the races mostly.

Cpt. Bringdown looking for a promotion to Colonel!
Anyway, while I agree, I want a totally new game(Which FFXIV is, don't kid yourselves haters), if I were to actually entertain the idea of a "Remastered" zone, it'd definitely have to be Al'Taeiu.
