Imo most of the weapons that currently drop off NMs are temporary steps to get to 99.

Look at the lvl 80 weapons as an example. Everyone went nuts over the stats on stuff like Vermeil Buji etc apparently forgetting there were still 19 levels ahead.
And all it took was to get to lvl 85 to put a dent in some, if not most of those weapons simply by letting out new Trials and new NMs that drop new and higher DMG weapons.

Don't get me wrong on this, some weapons such as the Auric Dagger may still endup having some use or being good at 99 ( although I'd feel happier with a Rapidus sax dagger ).

But if you want to get an idea of what good weapons will be available at 99, then I'd suggest to stick to ToM weapons.

If you can easily obtain Abyssean weapons, by all means keep them coming, but try and keep up with the magian ones as well
