The description leads me to believe you can use the weapon skills outside of empyrean weapons, which is relieving in a sense, though I wonder what the aftermath is per weapon, just for the sake of knowing.

The THF one strikes me as "Viper Bite+1 with Gravity" (Viper Bites description is Deals Double Damage: Poison's Target)

However, the others Could be very promising for weapons that dont have a base damage @ or around 40.

Also, Didn't see Aftermath posted there =(

Pretty sure it was

"Aftermath: Occ.Deals Double Damage" Like doublt attack except only 1 hit and you don't get the extra TP.

Rampart's description:

Grants a Magic Shield effect and enhances defense for party members within area of effect.

Probably just going to be a "Stoneskin" effect, except only works for magic, just like Rampart.

In other words: You're right, and I should've just looked at the silly weapons themselves before posting.

I'm fairly certain that trait doesn't activate on weapon skills, but it's still a pretty nice bonus for DPS if it activates frequently enough.

You can, I think the uh, Weaker "Walk of Echo's Coin" Weapons can use the weaponskills, They don't get After-math though.

Don't think we'll be seeing them quested like Nyzul ones =(

I'd imagine at least the same proc rate as Relic procs, maybe a bit more since they're a little weaker.

Would be worth it if the WSs are strong enough. Camlann's Torment sounds pretty *** win.

That's a possibility too, actually, and sounds about right even, but otherwise I suppose we'll see the empyrean weapon skills down the road somehow, since they just went ahead and threw relic weapon skills out on the street here.

The ONLY reason to use Cata is to keep the aftermath up, its a trash WS on its own. If DRK could hit 26% haste w/ /SAM you wouldn't see Apoc users using Cata unless it allowed us to break the cap again. Guillotine is 400dmg avrg better then ***Cata :(

It will heal around a CureIV generally if your WS is doing good dmg, on anything worth a ***its like a CureIII. But you can souleater WS and you gain the full amount back and don't lose anything, so thats nifty about it
