I can see how that is nerve-wracking for those who slaved away to reach a new division, only to have the achievement endangered, but it does solve the issue of 'ELO-boosting' no?
I would think that each Tier V plateau would also no longer be (quite so) predictably-bad performance-wise the higher up one goes.
If you are Silver out of lucked out placements and are worse than a Bronze V, you don't deserve Silver either. I'm ok with that system, it is not normal that you find more playing in Silver V than in whole Bronze combined. We were 75 in my whole 5 divisions of Bronze while we were 70 in my Silver division V.
But they're being rather lenient, it's very rare to see people with such a bad MMR in regard to their division to begin with, and secondly even a typical Bronzie can easily reach a 30/40% win rate in Gold, allowing him to never reach this threshold over a season.

The playerbase of this game is so ***.
I just played a NORMAL SR and had Annie as support(that's fine). She hadn't been connected for the first 10 minutes, so I was stuck bottom fighting blitz and Varus.
At one point in the game she brings up that I'm ranked bronze(I think I've played all of 5 ranked games because I just don't care about being Gold). I don't understand why people come into normal games and act like your ranking should mean anything.
If I wanted to be compared in that aspect then guess what, I'd go play ranked.
Also she ended up going 1/7, so I don't see where she had room to complain.
I like playing the game, but I hate the people.

I had the same experience yesterday. People fail to realize that Blind is literally "do whatever you want" and Draft is merely "train for ranked". But no, people have to be so serious business.
Same goes for ARAM. What started as a fun mode with Janna AD and Sivir AP ended in some serious business championship, it removed all the pleasure from that mode.

Unfortunately I think gold is a really unrealistic goal for me by the 11th considering I have to work the next three days. I AM however extremely proud of myself for the hard work I've put into getting better at playing and having a good attitude. Except for the few instances which ended up in that suspension, which I will/have been remedying by stepping away from the game when I'm frustrated.
Morg seems to be the AP super support-carry I wanted to but couldn't make of Lux. It shows in the stats.

Morgana is OP if you know how to play her right lol, I've gotten pentas from her XD i have all skins except sinful succulance XD but I love using Exiled... playing her as a blonde is fun :O
