and BotRK should be a first or second item on any adc
It does yes, I usually force duel because of this and it usually allows to win trades. You just have to pick if you rather farm or push the guy out of the lane first. Blind allows for a 100% second mark, which means the guy is dead. It definitely helps against a more fed ADC.
Well as an adc dueling doesn't only apply to other adcs
just because of what happens in team fights (people diving on top of your ***) you're forced to orb walk away from your assailants and the blind can help a lot for this (tbh the Ult is probably best used for running away as well unless you're killing an idiot who is caught out or something) BotRK helps a lot for kiting as well due to the move speed steal Orb walking, another thing I need to learn. Shift right click I believe? Or am I mixing things?
That and CSing are some of the most important mechanics for an ADC to learn

Orb walking is animation canceling to move while you attack. So basically you just use right click to cancel, or is there another thing better? I already do that, though I don't know the frama data well enough to be as smooth as the people I see on streams, that might be why.
rapidly click between your target and where you want to go if you want to be more precise with who you're hitting, but normally right clicking where you want to go and then attack moving the target (it prevents you from moving to where you clicked if you missed the person and hit the ground) because if you miss the target with attack move i think you'll just attack whoever is closest

Hopefully with the increase in cost as well as the damage nerf on base damage and damage nerf on the active it will be more of an "Oh ***they have 3 warmogs on every person" item
tbh Riot was the one who *** up with game balance, making it so that everyone had to build health in the first place, if they didn't want this to happen they should have just upped the amount of armor items give or made those items cheaper, or made armor pen/reduction a bit harder to come by I just wish there was some viable variety in builds.

get it as a situational item at best Armor still sucks. They can't make a counter to one item and then say armor is fixed. Wtf riot.

Wtf riot. armor hasn't really been "nerfed" it was made more expensive because it was too easy to get Season 2, and then they buffed armor pen basically, now ruined king counters health armor counters ruined king last whisper(other pen and shred as well) counters armor health counters last whisper(and other ***that does what it does) It doesn't scale differently, but I think its still unbalanced. Because of things like cleaver and DFG you can't build one solid armor or MR item and expect to be covered.
As I see it, and correct me if I'm wrong:
You have a lot of sources of armor, but the sources of arpen are easily built into builds anyway (bc). Especially with the ability of ad casters to apply it with abilities you're talking very short period of time before the full effect is applied. And with abilities like garen spin, you can apply it to an entire team in a tf. You have minimal sources of MR this season, and even more sources of MRpen (or ignoring it) with the addition of DFG. You have multiple sources of HP, a lot of which build into damage items too. You have one item now to counter health, and apcs can't even utilize it. I guess dfg kind of does cover the ap side, but it's function falls into the increased damage role too, which makes it useful whether or not the target has MR or not. |
