I think my normal jungle mundo build was along the lines of cloth/5
then boots -> Heart of gold -> Merc Treads/Tabi -> turn cloth into Aegis -> something like Randuin's Omen or maybe a Spirit visage and, though after my aegis I think most items depend on the situation (I think i've built Wit's End on him a few times, but not every game. Stuff like that)

I use them so I can max CDR (with 9/0/21 masteries too) and build Void Staff as my third item instead of Morello's. It saves me a slot and allows me to abuse my passive more in lane/midgame fights.
I've been using this over my offensive mastery setup with Sorc boots/grail/morello's/deathcap/void/lichbane because it seems to have a distinct advantage in late game. However it poses a serious problem with mana, and I usually need blue buff to stay in extended fights.
The offensive mastery setup gives me a big advantage in early game, which is important to me when I go mid against someone like LeBlanc who needs to be denied before Lv6.
100% cooldown! Spam all the abilities!
I wouldn't build Morello's or CD boots on Lux. If you have to rely on cooldowns you don't know how to manage your skills on most AP carries and you honestly should learn how to since you're mismanaging your abilities and probably spending more mana than you should (seeing how you have an unholy grail as well).
It's kind of relying heavily on a crutch and never being able to get better. Kind of like taking off the training wheels.
If you get rid of those items you gain a lot more AP and magic pen which lets you do a lot more damage, especially on Lux since she has low cooldowns and shouldn't spam abilities in lane (like everyone minus Ryze/manaless) and can easily keep them up in team fights without it.

WotA <------ most of the time. Or RoA to let you sustain a lot longer in lane and give more health. Or upgrade your Lich Bane earlier.
An early catalyst helps a ton with surviving and lane sustain without relying on blue and can be built in to a RoA after boots or WotA/Revolver.
Cheaper alternatives or better early game items that build in to better items overall.
