Mkay. I see what people are saying about Darius now. lol I FB'd him, we traded kills, then he somehow just died me farm/lvls and outscaled me to the point I was useless. >.> Nice to know I can't play old champions against him.

I tried Garen again after switching up runes from AD marks to Armor penetration marks.

With 22 Armor penetration and Doran's Blade (as opposed to the usual 15 AD that I use on my carry champs), I was taking 1/3 of mordekaiser's HP with a single Q. He wouldn't even get near his creeps when my Q was up. I got first blood, then another kill, and bullied anyone who tried to stop my rampage at top. Rushing Brutalizer just made it even better, when they switched mord for sejuani @ top because she had some armor built I could still harass her to hell.

Suddenly Garen is even more fun to play! :D

I regretted buying Garen. I just couldnt get the hang of him.

My niche seems to be ranged AD champs, just tried Caitlyn and I'm like, BOOM HEADSHOT *cackles fiendishly*

I have Ashe, Miss Fortune, and Sivir. Thinking about buying Varus, Caitlyn, Graves, and Ezreal. Of those 4, who's easier to play? I'm almost to the 6300 IP mark, so I can afford any of them quite soon.

imo Graves probably the easier ranged ad to play; I don't really play ranged ad much though, I have Graves/Ezreal but Ezreal seems kinda iffy to me. :<

Last time Graves was in rotation I tried him and I was decent with him (IN YO FACE BUCKSHOT YEEEEAAAAAHH!!!), kinda hoping to see Ezreal in rotation soon to try him out as well. I dont play too too often anymore due to friends stopping playing, so I have to be careful of my IP spending. Have to make the purchase count!

I have vayne too, but she's not my favorite ranged ad since her range is ***. <_> and yeah. I try not to play ranged ad if I can help it since LAST HITTING IS THE HARDEST THING EVER. D:

I don't have problems last hitting O.o

Just kinda have to gauge how much of a health bar one shot takes off and bounce between targets if you have to to prevent minions from last hitting instead of you.

As for Vayne, Tumble solves that problem as well as her passive if your chasing a champ down.

Doesn't matter what champion I play really, I'm just horrible at last hitting because if I'm a melee champion, I either hit too soon or minion blocks. (I generally run back and forth.) Or on ranged AD, I just hit too late or too soon. :|

About each of the ranged ADs I've played more than twice in order from favorite to least favorite:
Miss Fortune: Best speed-farming skill set, pair with Soraka to harass all day and win trades most of the time. No escapes, so it's usually mandatory to wait until an initiate and use E+R combo to tear up enemies before jumping in.
Ashe: A bigger asset than just a ranged AD. I get KS'd a lot when I play her, but she deals great damage while turning fights with slow/ult stun. I think she is one of the best very-late game champs.
Graves: Great at farming and safely harassing enemy, usually outperforms others easily at late game. Paired with Soraka is a tanky duo with amazing farm/harass ability.
Vayne: Very weak early game, but deals the most damage late game. Because of this people have high expectations of Vayne players and she's very squishy and easy to get focused with.
Caitlyn: Right click... Very easy lane phase, can deny very well but is usually unlikely to net many early kills without hard cc from support or jungler unless the enemy is HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.

Of the champs you said you're interested in, I think Graves is your man to try first, he plays a bit like Miss Fortune (caster-ranged) with some burst damage, and he's even more tanky. Since everything he does is a skillshot he's a fun and adaptable champ to play. Graves-Soraka duo lane makes you nearly impossible to kill unless they have a strong disabler for support/jungler such as Maokai/Janna/Alistar/Leona.

I play Ashe most often, and occasionally graves if he's up, but i duel with a volibear brother, she''s mental. by the time you get phantom dancer I'd say very few of the ranged dps keep up, or not that i've seen in my games

Nautilus is great. Makes Darius look like a wimpy kid with a bad attitude.

Been playing Orianna lately... holy **** she's OP/fun!

Also works great against Nunu, Katarina, and Warwick!




I like Kog because he doubles as a fairly strong AP mid. He keeps constant pressure on their mid with his ult and disrupts their farming. Also late game being able to rain slushies all over attackers is a great deterrent.

Why oh why, do I have a gut feeling that I won't be as frustrated with Draven as I was with Darius? o ~o

Because his gimmick will be the axe catching. I feel like over 80% of the player population wont be able to do it to be uber enough for 2 Spinning Axes :3



I just tried Darius and Cho'Gath in custom games(both free this week). Definately buying Cho'Gath now. I always, ALWAYS hate laning against him, and I see why now. His HP growth is insane, couple that with a Warmog's.....you're immortal basically.

Darius I had a bit of problems with early game, but by late game he was really good, nigh unstoppable. I -might- buy him.

Draven looks like a high skill cap champion. Meaning, everyone'll buy him but only a few rare ones will be able to be good with him. Does not look like a bot laner though imo.

Annoying thing I always found about cho'gath, my friend builds him full AP and still dominates as him. o_o Even with support tree running ignite/smite summoner's. lol D:

All his abilities gain bonus damage with AP. When I played him I built Warmogs, Zerker Greaves, Rod of Ages (I think? the purple one with a spiky top), and Deathcap. Had nearlt 5000 HP and over 350 AP. I'm probably gonna get him, hes only 3150.
