Has anyone figured out how you pull it down from the sky yet? It doesn't plop down like normal UFO's and we tried various things including casting, resting etc underneath it, all to no avail. Has anyone found a way to bring it down from it's perch?

Maybe it links with some mobs? /shrug
If it behaves like the Amphitere in Shadowreign you have to be in its 'cone of sight' , meaning just infront of it . being directly under it wont cause aggro .
I wish I had trouble aggroing greater painintheasses, I can't go into xarc s without gettin mauled by one ;;
Well, there are other mobs in abyssea that the only way to engage is to link them to other mobs... That may have some bearing to it. Wiki says they link... though not sure how that was tested/proven.
Maybe its like Fistule and you have to drag a NM to it. Hexenpilz, the funguar NM, doesn't have a key item drop. Similarly, Guimauve does not have a key item drop and is used to aggro Fistule.
Maybe you have to have a certain aura/light going on in order to aggro it.
