It may be posted somewhere alrdy and if so I apologize now. But is there a post explaining what you get achievement points from and how many?
If there is would it be possible to get it stickied somewhere for easier finding?

There was a post, but you can just look at your achievements tab and see exactly what you get your points from :o!

I believe you have to register for Achievements. Click the tab and go from there.
P.S. Tab on the left, not on your character name.

Nothing like that. Achievement points currently gets calculated once per day, and it seems you just got your profile scanned.

Thanks for correcting the misunderstanding, I thought this site had to have you registered to do so, its been too long since I set up my account that my info is a little fuzzy.
how often does FFXIAH updates the achievement? i got 3 lvls from 1 of my jobs and did some missions, these are already listed on my "ls community profile" but achievement keep saying i have the same points :S
It will update your profile, but it does so every few days it would seem. However there is a update profile button just under your avatar that well does it early if your impatient.
