Problem Downloading
Problem downloading
My GF has problems downloading, ROM 250.dat error keeps popping up when it tries to download it, anyone else getting this?
Wife getting 88.dat problem when installing, my comp installed everything ok from what i can see

I keep having problems as well with my d/ling. I either gives me an error or says that I can't connect to the server right in the middle of my d/ld. :/
then its backwords at my house.... i cant get passed preparing download... once that 30mins is over i get kicked.. only to redo it all over again... my GF on the other hand had the whole thing downloaded in less then 1hr..... ive been trying for 3hrs...
Some people will get it downloaded sooner then others.

I get all my files check and then when it goes to DL the patch.txt i lose connection. Sometimes i dont even make it to the part where i get my files checked before d/cing...
mine stops @ file 1981 FFXIMain.dll , have retried countless times...

I'm getting this as well. :/
just keep retrying took me a hour and a half but i am now at 760/2004 files left to download

I'm downloading but i'm currently at 7% downloaded and it's saying that it's gonna take another 6hrs, what's up with this?

so this is HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.
earlier i was downloading no problem, got to 2nd portion of downloads hit 92% then got a HDD error message, (on xbox btw) now ive tried numerous times to log back in to restart version update get to the first portion of the update hit anywhere from 50%-84% and my xbox freezes. anyone else have this issue atm? im on the mic with 3 friends none of which are having "any" issues.

I cant even get started on the 1st file FFXIMain.dll. Freaking thing has restarted and restar....... oh ***we have movement!!! Woooot 1%
It wont start me up, too much traffic i guess, it freezes at start of download... i'll just download later tonight or tomorrow morning bah
SE hasn't figured out after almost a decade that their update program sucks. Have they heard of bit torrent, I know it's really new technology, and I realize they are poor, but they should be able to afford it right?

Just personally tested this. Update found one file to download (FTABLE.DAT). Of course I got the 1160 error due to the current bottleneck.

this is complete *** 89% and froze yet again......S/E has a real knack for sucking major balls.

lol new technology huh? funny seeing as it's been out since 2001 >.> just have to remember Japan is one of the few countries that originally tried to combat filesharing via banning people from service lol
