Yeah, I did that and it checked my version before seeing if I needed to update. After that it said it was starting to download 5/5 files and tries for a while before giving me the error screen.

Sorry, the error code I get is 1161, not 1160. It doesn't say I'm missing any .dat when it gives me the error message.

Sorry, the error code I get is 1161, not 1160. It doesn't say I'm missing any .dat when it gives me the error message.
Have any experienced PLDs started created new itemsets for level 80? I would do it, but I'll admit it's a bit overwhelming for me and my 66PLD.

Yeah, it has alternated between the two now that I notice.
My 1160 error code didn't give me a .dat file in its message.

this is the interesting,,,when I began the second time I began at 1695 not 2004. Just gonna sit it out, last time I tried to force an update(non-ffxi) it corrupted my OS and I had to do a complete re-install one my PC. AM just glad I had recovery discs

Edit: It changes how many files you have to download each time you have to restart it. So if you start at 2000 the first time, download 300 files, and then error, when you restart it will say 1700 instead of 2000.

I feel like starting a new game after all these items, esp this Versa +1 set looks amazing for PLD/WAR tanking.

In at work right now. I feel sorry for you poor *** camping the Play button (if you re even getting that far), but in a sense I'm glad I'm not missing much. I get home in 2 hours, so hopefully it all picks up by then. Possibly a call in sick day tomorrow, due to shitting bricks overnight.....

I was reading about the new gear. Teal set is something I really want (rdm). I was holding out for the ellusive elemental wands, I have a Mythic +1 that I love, but except for stoneskin and a few other spells, I get nasty comments for having it equipped. Since Clubs are a skillable weapon for RDM it only makes sense we have an elemental version instead of being forces to use staves.
