DNC: The new queen of FFXI!
I'm not seeing the connection here.
What do DNCs sub NIN for? Solo? Dual-wield? AOES? ***, you can just cure yourself back to full in like.... 2secs if you're hit with AOE. It'll be mildly annoying (especially if the AOE has stun effect) but I'm not seeing the issue here with subbing /SAM. On that note, we'll probably still need to /NIN for Einherjar but everything else is eh, not seeing a problem.
Don't Care. Dnc/Sam all the way to 80. Doing it.
If Reverse Flourish was merited Dnc could already solo Darkness with little skill involved.. (Eviseration + Pyrrhic Kleos = Darkness)
Now I'm imagining this..
200%Tp + Sekkanoki + Reverse Flourish a few steps = Sam 2-hour
[Edit: forgot you can Add Meditate to that Equation too]

I know this might seem a little crazy to think of, but with these 2 Stuns and some Stun daggers... is it possible to build a semi stun lock. I know you cannnot control when the daggers go off but if those Augmentable daggers give you a very potent Stun you could potentially dual wield those and just lock something in stun enough to take it down.

Also, between being able to cure outside pt with waltzes and increased TP build on PLD/DNC, I can see some easy 4-5k campaign battles in my near future.
That'll be two jobs up to 80 pretty damned fast.
SE, I salute you for making one of the most versatile jobs even more ludicrously overpowered, but only because I leveled it fully before.
Also, between being able to cure outside pt with waltzes and increased TP build on PLD/DNC, I can see some easy 4-5k campaign battles in my near future.

It would be nifty. The reason why I'm so omgwtfbbq over SAM is because I'm a main-heal DNC, and Sekkanoki allows me a nice OSHITPEOPLEAREDYING buffer after I WS. Well, that and RF. And people seem to die a lot really fast around me .____.;;;

I'm MOST definitely going to be spending more time /Sam, /War, /Whatever.. getting dual-wield makes me*** in my pants every time I read it..

With a Wyvern Earring DNC should easily hit the gear haste cap.
DNC would also be able to do it without sacrificing Dual Wield and without needing a 6% Haste belt.
