I have nothing against this guy. I trolled to avoid everyone from noticing that he's being a crybaby right now. It's the *** internet. Just ignore and move on. If others cared, they wouldn't contributed to my derail.

You can never please EVERYONE. If someone thinks you're a retard for doing something you enjoy, get over it. Having a sense of humor about these things makes it all seem silly in the end (and it is silly).

Because people seem to all have different ideas of what the FFXIAH screenshot section is "for," perhaps I can weigh in.

Answer: Whatever the hell you want.

Seriously. If people want to upload RL pics, that's not just acceptable, we made an entire tag category for it. Knock yourself out. Filter them out if you don't like them. If people want to upload amusing pun photos of items, go for it. If you want to upload only in-game screens, do whatever makes you happy.

I see a lot of "This isn't Facebook" comments on people's RL pics. Who the hell are you to say it isn't?

Look, we're not going to police the screenshots section unless it's used maliciously, or in a way that seriously effects the site experience. An example would be uploading someone else's photo without their consent (you can get in legal trouble for that), or uploading so many photos that you start to monopolize the front page, and/or start taking our hosting for granted as your own personal Photobucket. (And by the way, that's our line to call, not yours.) Ditto if you start posting porn, or spam.

As long as you're not breaking anything, we don't care. Just be prepared to get rated down, because in our experience, users are about 15x as likely to Thumbs Down something than Thumbs Up it. (Cynical bunch.) And be prepared for nasty commentary -- that's why we gave you the option to delete comments you don't like. But if a user decides to use the comments section to harass someone (roughly the same definition of harassment as GM's use in-game), we'll step in eventually.

Beyond that, we're not going to get involved.
