I find the lack of tramp-stamps in this thread...to be a good thing.

No offense, but tattoos like these are easily among the most regrettable that you can get. I hope you don't end up regretting them as you age. :X

It's not too big, maybe 2 inches a crossed vertically and horizontally. I got it on my ankle when I was 17. (I'm 25 now.)

I'm sure some people would think tattooing Kanji on you could be regrettable but my Chinese birth element is Fire so it bares some personal basis.

And lets be honest... Kanji just looks neat. ):

At this time I still only have the two tattoos I've already shown you guys. But if you want to see my future tattoo plans, here goes:

'Songbird' on my ankle. My biological mother's favorite animals are birds, and both of us love music. I don't see her often, so an inked reminder of her would mean a lot to me.


And an anchor, except with cherry blossoms instead of whatever flowers these are. My grandparents on my father's side are both gone, and I miss them. The anchor would represent my grandfather, who was a sailor in the Navy, and the cherry blossoms would represent my grandmother because those were her favorite flowers.


I'm also still batting around the idea of a small armband, probably of vines or a claddagh (or vines leading to a claddagh) with "Erin Gra Ma Chroi" scripted underneath. I think I already told you guys about that, too, way back when this thread was started. I can't help it, I consider tattoos for months or years before I commit to them! I have decided on the anchor and the songbird, but it will be a few years (probably) before I get either of them simply because I insist that my student loans and so on be paid off first, unless the tattoo is a special treat of some sort.

More new artwork. The crest on the elbow is new. It was the only thing left on my arm that wasn't covered. The rest surrounding it is a cover up of some filler I got years ago. And yes it hurt like a sombitch. Kudos to anyone who recognizes the crest.
Next thing I'll be getting is my back done in traditional Irezumi.

I don't have any pics online, but I have 3 tattoos, one on each hip, ones a tribal, the other is a crazy heart and the 3rd is a tramp stamp... The tramp stamp is getting redone as soon as I can afford it.

ok got this 2 years ago 12 hours and 3 sittings.

Took the pic a couple years ago after a bad sunburn. Anyhow, it's a rainbow clover (for some reason, tons of people say they can't tell wtf it is in that pic... gotten "palm tree" before...) I got when I was 18. Have a yin yang with geckos in it on my arm, I'll have to see if I have a pic of that on my PC.
