Ivysaur has the easiest way to build damage.
Charizard hits *** hard, and has long grabs, and a easy way to build dmg.
Squirtle is just tiny and hard to hit. But not hard to avoid.

General usage. Charizard, definitely. If I'm going into a fight blind, I will pick Chari hands down every time.
I like to use Squirlte on projectile spammy players or just slower players in general. I hate squirlte for MK because he's just as fast and outranges squirtle, but on some other opponents, I can get squirtle to shine.
Ivy is kind of mixed. I can't even explain the situations. Some chars I'm a *** beast with him and vs other it's a *** massacre (like I can't approach olimar for ***).
For FFA, char again. Bullet seed sucks in FFA unless only two people left. I wish ppl would just leave it the fk alone. Stopping 30-60 dmg on someone to do 10 to me is just HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE lol. Chari seems to work best w/ strong attacks and heavy weight (to prevent from getting knocked the fk out from nowhere) when it comes to a big brawl
