I jump with X, but when I want to do Aerial attacks with a character like Meta Knight, I found Tap jump to be easier. I could also make another profile with the same name and just have one with tap jump on and another with it off.

i have stage select on random... should I have something selected? I thought host picked all that stuff.
random is very bad lol. pick a tourney stage at least, but them random stages suck

You just need to learn how to shield and dodge. You're decent offensively, just easy as *** to hit.
There's a shield? lol jk but I have a hard time with it, seems like a lot of the time my character goes for throws or some other weird move instead of blocking.

If you can beat a lv9 computer without taking any damage, or taking very minimal damage. You can beat us. :P
After you can beat a lv9 computer. Give yourself a handicap and raise it after you keep beating him.
Lv9 computers are really nothing compared to VSing people here, because they have a tendency to not utilize all of their moves. I gave myself a 100% Handicap and took down a lv9 Ike is 48 seconds, and the only damage I took was a grab. (3 stock)
Keep in mind though Ike is probably one of the easiest computers to VS, just because he is a little too easy to K.O. CPU or not, you knock him far enough off the stage, he isn't coming back. Just ask Tiger.

lol, maybe if you chase ike off the edge w/ MK, it's easy to make sure he doesn't get back up, but try a straight up gtfo my stage type of match w/ ike w/ team rocket style kills.
