I can name a couple to recommend for you

TV: Psych, Bones, House, Futurama(another season suppose to be starting next month).

Anime:



Durarara. It is a serious anime with a lot of interesting characters.

Arakawa under the Bridge. A hilarious anime with characters that are well... hard to describe. Clip below will show ya what I mean it is from episode 4




The Law of Ueki. This anime is a decent one it has battles that are not to overly dragged out. Though it is the type of shows where the second half is better than the first half, at least in my opinion.

I started watching Ichiban Ushiro Daimaou recently. I really like the series so far. And one of my old favs When They Cry(Higurashi No Naku Koroni)!!!

Last good cartoon shows were Spongebob and Fairy odd parents.


***doesn't even compare to 10-15 years ago. It's like people are growing up earlier so they just jump from blue's clues to gossip girl these days.

Arakawa Under the Bridge is kick ***! So is Bakemonogatari, but I havent seen any new subs for the latter recently. Another really good one, Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan the artistry reminds me of Kenshin~

Toradora for anime, was last thing I watched and was really good.

FFXIAH, I am disappoint.


I'm going to suggest torrenting the fansubbed version though. I'm not one of those subs-or-gtfo people, but the dub was every definition of half-assed. The dub does the series absolutely no justice, they didn't even post-process anything (for example, to make someone's voice sound like its on a loudspeaker from inside the mech you're looking at).

Gurren Lagann is too, but I'm not going to link it for the reasons stated above.

I agree on Jungle wa itsumo hare nochi guu (if you didn't see it yet give it a go it's really fun)and somehow not alot of ppl know it wich is really sad
Also kamen no maid guy, azumanga daioh, ranma 1/2 (really old i know but i still like it myself so might aswel say it :P), samurai champloo & nana (sorry to repeat 70% of what ppl said above me)
