I think SVU is the best Law&Order too. It has a good cast and a good balance of police and courtroom. The original series tends to focus more on the courtroom part and CI tends to focus more on the police (specially after Courtney Vance left the show).

L&O earlier on was half police/half courtroom. It wasn't until Jerry Orbach (Lenny Briscoe) died and Jesse Martin (Ed Green) finally left the show that it went more towards a courtroom drama.

Law and Order got canceled next year. /sadface

CI started to suck as soon as they moved it to USA perma.
