NIN Can't DD

Thats what everyone says anyway.

Had an ls party on birds and I went as nin just for fun, and parsed it.

They all had avarage gear, and my nin doesnt have anything special either really

NIN DD's perfectly fine on anything besides HNM/can't be meleed anyways.

Let me guess the people who dodnt have nin 75 well geared most likely say that?

Nin can dd very well, comes close to mnk, sometimes even better than mnk. Depends on your gear. Blade Jin does rocks.

How long was this parse? From the data it doesn't look very long. Only 2 Barrage? Only 20-10 WS?

Warrior: Raging rush - Average 559 damage

Samurai: GKT Gekko Average: 669 damage

Rng: It's a rng, not hard to outparse, and I'm pretty sure 1.2k is a low winder average anyways, but you'd have to double check w/ the rngs.

You going to claim these DDs don't suck? My ws average was higher than all except the rng when my sam was lv 74and i did a /anon party to get myself to 75.

yeah that is pretty low for a rng was in a pt yesterday and rng never did less then 1300 on his sidewinder. o and the pt was lv55

I dont say they dont suck, but even if they suck, my nin gear also suck, so it evens out. see?

I'm saying that we all had kind of mediocre gear, if you gonna bring a fully geared and merited sam/war/rng in the party you would also have to bring in a nin with ALOT better gear than I have for my nin.

It doesn't even out. Because the difference between a top gear nin and a top gear [insert other DD here] isn't going to accurately be represented by the parse you showed us.

I don't think I've ever been outparsed by a nin when I play mnk.

and my mnk gear is incredibly average.

idk, maybe 30 min or so. I got extreme lag when I run the parse.

I've been outparsed by 1 nin in my parsing history on mnk. This is when I was using a SH, pahluwan pants, and a brown belt.

Assuming zero haste on the SAM and a 450 delay GKT (and 6hit) it would take 15minutes to do 20 WS (if full time engaged).

So the parse would have been ~10minutes.

with haste, 1 march, and 10% gear haste and 450 delay you have 5.0sec attack round

so for 94 hits it would take that sam 7.83min.

Congrats your nin beat an afk crappy geared sam.

he has misses filtered, hence their 100% hitrate. he swung more than that. I'd assume he had another 94 swings worth of misses.

and my metsus outside of HNM but counting dynamis were always 1k+. best in meripo was a 1847 and best in dynamis was 1268 (northlands, not lol city)

vs HNM like cerb it was like 849-1010 and the only reason i was nin/war on cerb was because we had 2 plds already and I came as nin because it was last minute blah blah blah I didn't change to sam etc.

also not saying that zannos nin is epic. he doesnt own half of what my Asaru did. Also no Metsu.

Enlighten me then because its probably something I forgot when I was trying ot remember this build lol. Also the only reason I used Osode on body during the ws over my Hauby+1 was because of the dex mod and that my acc was capped.

I think I have an alright ninja, still working on it, and it definately could use alot more eg gear. Love my ninja dearly, but I have to agree that NIN DD does suck compared to others. It wasn't until I started changing foods that I noticed a nice increase in damage. I went from using Sole Sushi +1, to Carbonara +1, even yellow curry, or curry buns, and noticed a nice damage increase even with Blade: Ku, however, I also lacked a medium amount of accuracy I'd usually get from the sushi. If you already have the accuracy going on, switching to those foods is great (and for lower lvl mobs.) I still only use sole sushi +1 in a mamool ja sp merit party, otherwise I'll miss a lot.

FOV Cape Terrigan page 4 or 5 makes for a nice solo/duo testing grounds. I wanna be parsed and able to parse. Can someone send me a private msg on what to use?
