Now that you can actually buy them in stacks from the Sparks vendor, instead of one-at-a-time, its pretty nice if you don't have anything else to spend your Sparks on.

Especially for Summoning Magic, which can be a serious pain to skill up the normal way, or if you're just plain impatient.

Depending on what jobs you have at your disposal, farming Sparks is stupidly quick!

But I bought one with 200 sparks (pretty cheap). However, the amount it raises your skill is random. So far I've seen 0.1-0.4.

Presumably this works like an actual skill-up (while fighting/casting) and there will be more numbers in that range.

For the price tag, you get what you pay for (Since when isn't something expensive in FF?)

Maybe useful to grind out the last few levels in a skill that is leveling slowly (Healing magic / Summoning magic come to mind...

Otherwise you can probably cap most skills way faster than you can get the sparks.

Once you get over 405 skill, you'll only get .1s
