If you don't want to catch monsters, then only fight the fishing stamina if you get a negative comment. When you get a positive comment like "You have a good feeling about this!" then its a monster.

Single Hook Rod/Sinking Minnow have worked beautifully for me.

This fish flags the same as a monster (!!!). I frequently stopped my reel until I realized this.

In addition to Levitz' comment: You can reel in the tuna, which check as "terrible feeling," without line/rod breaks
(setup: Fishing 33 with composite + sink minnow @ ferry). However, there were times when I lost my catch after depleting the fish's HP completely. n_n;;

When I started fishing these up they were selling about average speed. I think that was due to the mass lack of them on the AH.

Seeing as many cookers may need to skill up on them, they sell faster than many expect.

1.5k doesn't seem like much, but it adds up fast, and if you like fishing as much as Vagu and I do, then this is a pretty good profit/skillup fish.

I usually fish this on the Selbina <-> Mhaura ferry with a minnow. It will also pull up cone calamary, bluetail and noble lady which all sell for a moderate price.

As Levitz said, the tuna will be the (!!!) with negative comments.

Having Angler's Almanac KI hooks more Tiger Shark than anything... Recommended to use another account if you need to catch a bunch of these for GP.
