"Iridescence" adds an additional possible weather proc for 10% damage bonus.
Iridescence can proc with or without normal weather bonus procs, significantly increasing the chance of a 10% bonus proc, and also making a 20% bonus proc possible.
Elemental Obis will force the combined Iridescence/Weather proc.
Iridescence has no effect on day potency bonus/procs.
Has the following hidden effects:
All elements: Magic Potency +15%
All elements: Magic Accuracy +15
All elements: Avatar and spirit perpetuation cost -3

Maybe that is where they got the name for the staff? I highly doubt it was just an "off the wall" word, usually SE has meaning behind the names of stuff.
