Not really that good for THF. +2 DEX is +2 base damage on SA. Iron Sword +1 or Fire Sword have 2 more base damage than this full time (and slightly lower delay). Flame Sword is even better.

Good sword for early THFs, i also used for my PLD in the low levels since it was fairly cheap and +2 DEX is nice
