The DoT on this weapon is simply stunning. 36 DMG is a major increase from any other weapon around the level. The only weapons which compare are the other two nations' 55 swords. For most BLUs, this is the better option. For BLUs comfortable with their accuracy and would like to improve their general melee, consider looking at a Wise Wizard's Anelace. Royal Guard's Fleuret is unfortunately not an option.
9.15 DPS in comparision to 9.03 from the Wise Wizard's Anelace, the Attack +12 from the Anelace will increase your melee attack and WS strength, but not damage on your BLU physical spells. The Accuracy +3 on the Falchion will increase your accuracy on those spells, however.
