Please do not NPC these. Alchemists are usually looking to buy these for skill ups, and Goldsmiths are looking to buy the platinum nuggets for their skill ups. So by NPCing these, you are hurting two groups of crafters.
Be realistic; this is a matter of supply and demand. Alchemists and Goldsmiths may both want these, but when I have five stacks and I'm looking at six other stacks up for sale, barely over NPC sale price, with FFXIAH recording ~1 stack a day sold, I'm headed to a vendor. No one's trying to hurt crafters intentionally, but we also don't want to hurt ourselves paying auction fees over and over again. :) If demand were higher (faster sales/higher prices) you'd see more of these on the market.
@Shanyn That may be true but AH isn't the only way to sell, think about the possibilities, see who is buying platinum leaves and offer to sell any you have to them, it will maximise your profit and help a crafter out as well.
Platinum Leaves are the best failure produced by any Ore recipe, a huge reason to why the prices of Ice Ore are the lowest in any server of all ores. The reason being their great sell to vendor value and reliable results.

I've grown some of these using a Brass Flowerpot, and a Tree Sapling and then using an ice crystal both times when you need to feed it.
Takes a while to grow but for 25k+ a stack it's worth the wait when compared to the 9k you get from just selling the single sapling.
Im telling u guys, when l was lvling alchemy up to lvl 96, l was looking so bad for these and l would have paid even 35k for these stacks, so trust me on this, alchemists will pay even 40k for these cuz it is an easy and profitable recipe for us. If u guys dont believe me, check those Philosopher's Stone, always going up and up. And why am l telling this if l am an alchemist? well, cuz lm tired of alchemist undercutting the market with platinum nuggets and lm trying to help other ppl out here.
