Although its scent still lingers on
the form of a flower has scattered away
For whom will the glory
of this world remain unchanged?
Arriving today at the yonder side
of the deep mountains of evanescent existence
We shall never allow ourselves to drift away
intoxicated, in the world of shallow dreams.

The title means "Iroha".
So I'd assume he's referring to the Cloud of Darkness and Iroha's struggles.

But That's not kanji :p that's Martian language.

(If you really can read kanji from OP, you'd know these characters has no meaning, just meaningless scribbles)

Hmm, I currently cannot read Kanji. But I am able to recognize the characters. I'll wait until I have a better understanding of the language to argue one way or the other. xD

Yes, they are "characters", but it's not possible to get a meaning from it it by randomly putting them together like this. Hence its Martian language.

A true Japanese sentence has both kana and kanji because the former are used as grammatical elements. For this reason OP resembles Chinese more (if you don't know, kanji ARE Chinese characters) but even in Chinese it has no meaning too. It's just gibberish.

You shouldn't give up this easily. Look harder, there has to be some hidden meaning. The Martian people put commendable effort into trying to communicate with us in one of our own languages, so the least you could do is to put the same amount of effort into trying to communicate back!

The article implies that text written in "Martian" has meaning, i.e. not gibberish, it's just written in a "hip" way so to speak (and that's what makes it "Martian"). So I'm not sure I'd call the OP Martian if it's complete gibberish and serves no purpose.
Unless, of course, the article is simply uncomprehensive.

It's actually called manyougana, which is the historic usage of Chinese characters in Japan for their sound value only, disregarding the idiomatic meaning of the characters. This is actually where hiragana developed from, as a cursive way of writing the sound values.

In this case, OP's text is the Iroha poem, which uses the entire Japanese syllabary exactly once, including a couple that are no longer used

Well, I have thought of these characters could be deciphered in a another way, just not normally how kanji are used. Basically what Kongming said based on wiki link, so the Martian language description still applies, lol.

Have you never used google translate?

How's Google translate relevant to getting the meaning from it >.>

I did tried to decipher the sound earlier but too hard for my elementary JP level. Then one wiki page contained all the answer to the riddle, so research skill > language skill here lol.
