There are tons of great game on 3DS right now, some are even on sale. Fire Emblem Awakening, Project X Zone, Etrian Odyssey 4, Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Mario Kart, Code Princess, Devil Summoner, Shin Megami 4, etc... just to name a few. Etrian Odyssey 4 is on sale at Amazon for $22 bucks, not sure for how long. Best Buy often has sale on the 3DS XL, 20 bucks off, or $25 gift certificate. It's a great system now because of the games :)
also plenty of downloadable games available for it, wich will be the only way to get the new pheonix write game

Don't forget Kid Icarus: Uprising. The controls feel weird at first but you get use to them. The game looks great, plays great, funny as hell, and has a great story. Not to mention it breaks the 4th wall and makes it their ***! lol
*edit* serious this was the first 'Must Have' game for the 3DS. Up to it's release we mainly had remakes and 3D land/kart 8 good games but not as deep as i like.
Yeah the 3DS turned to be a great "little" system after 2 years, the launch was a disaster, but now it has one of the best library of games for those who are fed up with "FPS anything and everything".... Plus you can still play those DS games, which itself has tons of amazing games :)
Also Hades is the biggest troll in the universe! Hell he's face looks like the Troll Face!!!

young kids don't get things like that. Hell I saw Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail when I was 4 and didn't get any of the sexual jokes until I was a young teen.

If anybody needs a crown i have one in my town atm (already bought it earlyer this week at a friends town)... you'll need to come pick it up yourself though since i'm almost broke (damn house and town stuff are costing so many many bells i need to start selling turnips again).

Totally missed this post cause I woulda been posting from the start! I got a few friends addicted to animal crossing when it was released and some still play but not as nearly as much as I do. :(
