Right now I have Mermaid bed and wallpaper on my island. I'll open my town but will be AFK making dinner. So feel free to take whatever you need.

palm tree lamp available through dl starting today

I have been making 1/2 a mil a night doing so on the island. I could easily do 1 mil a night if I could keep my attention span for that long. Straight up hacks man. They never thought that out well.

As for progress, 3 bridges now, illuminated clock (so wicked at night), and I just added a basement to my house. Best part is, its Saw/Dead Walking style. Table and dentist chair in the basement, with creepy odds and ends I could find also.

My library is looking sleek, just hoping for some perfect lychees, bananas and mangos soon.

Ive also had nothing selling worth post mentioning either. Blah.

Did you cut down all the trees, and get rid of all the flowers and leave only palm trees? That'll force beetles to spawn only (with the exception of roaches and hermit crabs). If you play with a friend online hermit crabs wont spawn, you'll have to deal with dumb roaches spawning over beetles. What me and my friend do is play online, have one stand inside of the building while one fills their inventory completely with beetles (the basket thingy to transfer back to your town). Only sell the beetles on the palm trees, they sell for 8k each. I like to catch any sharks if I see any but usually keep to beetles cause they have the most gain.

Also, I like to cut down the palm trees on the south of the island because its hard to sneak up on those without scaring them away unless you 100% dedicate to "walking slow."

Farm after 7PM!

You get 300~500k each time you leave the island depending on the type of beetles spawn during your catch.

Opening the gates for couple hours, I have peaches, lemons, mangoes, cherries, lychees, spikeything, oranges, apples and perfect apples in the trees, take anything you want, just not my pink flowers!

Oh, and if you have fruit that I don't have, I won't be mad if you plant or drop it somewhere! :3

Some of those walkways are darn nice. I never bothered making paths before... considering it now

I've never played an Animal Crossing game. Is it worth me going out to get one?

well we're all biased to say yes...

As someone who's luke-warm into Animal Crossing, I'd say it's worth the buy. Expect small stints of play-time, but a lot of over-all game time spent over a long period of time.

I never played an AC game before and it's easily become my most played 3/DS game, I'd recommend!

Does anyone else have problems getting someone to enter their town? I can never get anyone to enter mine but I have no problem going to anyone else's or connecting on the island online OR using the dream worlds. :(

So frustrating.
