New RDM Trail Weapon Question!!

So, i plan to use this sword while i dual-wield on rdm/nin. theres one that has -36 delay. And i was wondering if i should even bother going down that path because i have a joyeuse. So i was just wondering if the -delay would do anything if the dealy on main is lower then off hand delay.

Need more info really but probably better off with offhanding joy toy and mainhanding a high dmg one or something like blau. Or getting another one that does OAT. Like trial one or justice.

Also the -delay will always do something. Doesn't matter what the other hand is doing or anything. For DWing the effective delay for it is figured by adding the 2 weapons dividing by 2 then factoring in DW. That delay is used to calculate tp per hit and time per swing (which is doubled since you swing with both)
