Working On War Maat Fight, Questions

I have been lvling my GA skill the past two days to get ready to kill Maat on my 70WAR. Should I wait to get a higher cap or think I can do it at skill of 200GA? Also, where should I go to skillup faster?

Where can I go solo some skill ups? Cape Terrigan I've been at for a while but they are really slow

200 is about level 60 skill I believe, just /sh for a skill up pt in WG for the boyahda tree.

I honestly have to say no one lately has been doing them on Phoenix nor does anyone want to go even =/

Could just skill up in besieged, sucks tho lol

Dunno how your polearm skill is but I beat WAR Maat with polearm :s But 200 skill yeah you are gunna have to go to tree =/

Edit : My polearm was capped at 66 on WAR from SAM/DRG. I also slept to 300TP too iirc because its a short fight.

Haven't even touched it on that character >.<

Ask friends and go there, the crabs there are nice and live a while.

Honestly if you have to you can probly do it with axe and shield...



but that all depends on if you've used axe or not

when i did maat fight at 66 war i think my skills were a little below but not too far.

at 66 Great axe cap is 232 and i probly had somewhere around 220.

Ur cap is 251 which might take a while to get, so i would try to get atleast 235~245 before you try to kill maat, because you might have trouble hitting him unless ur acc isnt half bad

I might go try and Duo it a little with my BLM and WAR characters. Thanks for the help. I really wish 200+ was easier than going to Boy Tree

you can try going now but i wont make any promises regarding survival... lol

if u have ALOT of pots u might be able to live? but then again it only takes a few hits from maat to die, i think when i did it he only got crits on me... which sucked

luckily i had pots and did decent damage with raging rush so he only got a few off
