The NM is Picolaton. Anybody have any info on this guy? Respawn, difficulty, etc.
Right off the bat I can tell you that you just gave us more info about the NM than almost anyone else knows.
hunting him now, more info when i get him pop. gonna try solo as pld/dnc. Wasnt up when i got out here. killin the Phorusrhacos (greater birds) around the area he pops now. been at it 30 mins. no pop yet.
Was gonna go camp it but looked at the stats again lol. 0 situation i'd ever use it in.
Based on the recently posted screenshot of a group of 6 getting 24 exp, I estimate its level to be roughly 65.
But judging by the fact someone is dead in a party of 6, maybe its difficulty belies its level.

if your talking about the SS on BG, also take into account there was no healer in that pt, and they held the mob for the thf to get there a tag it with TH4.

Beyond the stormwind spam for about 200 dmg, its normal hits and enspell dmg are quite minimal. So with a healer this would be fairly easy fight since it only has around 7k ish hp. Sam two hour or fast dmg can probably down it quick enough without heals.
Loire, i know you and some other guys were hunting this nm, and idea if its a timed spawn or lotto ? and was any weather up when he popped. (to your knowledge)
thats what iam trying to post onto bg right now. I do not believe there was weather up but nearly certain it was off of lotto less there is now conjunction between lotto and weather

been out here killin birds that spawn around e/f-7/8 for close to 4 hrs now and no pop. im alone out here so i know someone else hasnt gotten him.
alright, so i got him to pop finally. about 4.5-5hrs into camping him. Not too hard of a solo for pld/dnc, normal attacks ranging from 40-110 with 20-40 enaero. Stormwind was between 39-162, spams pretty frequently. Gear for my pld isnt the best so i beleive any 75pld/dnc should have very little trouble.
No drop for me =( only 66 xp. PHers were givin me about 55xp each so hes not much higher lvl than them. gonna start rekilling PHers to see if i can get a repop time on him.
*edit: popped in E-7 for me. right on the grid line to F-7.

were there any weather affects when you did it? been camping for about 5 hours and no pop so far

All the details are posted on The New NM thread in BG. Other than repop time, its pretty much entirely mapped out.
i killed ph's for 5hrs last night and never got him to pop.
can say this, the PH is in D-10 area, actually NM is around F-7/E-7. friend killed PH and NM popped when PH was due

Info about placeholder is half-right, it moves between D-10 and E/F-7.

EASILY soloable by 75pld/37dnc(maybe i should have clearified. ive done it 3 times so far. 0/3 unfortunatly but there almost no competition out here. also, i have yet to kill and bird outside the spawn area and gotten him to pop 3 times. I tried to pop this NM killing the birds at E/F-7 and that area and never got it to pop. PH might indeed be up at D-10 like Drachen says.

I helped a friend with this NM it took us 13h.
I killed both the birds at D-10 and they didn't respaw for 40 minutes or so then we 've found the NM in the upper area , not really solable if you dont have /dnc or can't heal yourself.
Lowers it gets on HP faster it spawns Stormwing.
To Drachen: You get Drain Samba II at level 35 DNC so you might wanna get your sub up at least there

I have one question about the southern area. How many birds are there? I know one is suppose to either be on the cliff area through the tunnel, or at D-10, but I have yet to see a bird there. The only bird I see is at D-11/E-11 by Scorchvale. It repops every 5 minutes.
