Accuracy Cap

Trying to work out the accuracy cap for merits on Birds mainly: As for anything IT+ i know basically all the acc i can get is needed:

My main question is can i TP in askar over Haub/Berk or should i not?

My set up is:

Perdu GA
Pole Grip
Fire Bomblet
W turban
PCC
Ethreal earring
Brutal earring
Body (not sure atm).
Hands Dusk gloves
Rings: Sniper's and Rajas
Back: Cerberus
Waist: Swift
Legs: Haidate
Feet: Unicorn (Aiming for Aurum atm).

Merits 8/8 GA.
STR: 3/5 (mentioned so you know i didnt do DEX.)

I know IT and above Berk will do better, but for TP build on TP i dunno if i hit acc cap or not w/o it. AS obv askar wud make me better to TP in.

Only would be capped w/ aggressor up w/ askar body and that build. Get your 6hit w/ rose strap and ecphoria

Would hit like 92-95% with agressor depending on your base DEX.
Waaaaaaaaaay below without it (like 81-84%)

So leave askar and keep berk.
Drop Sniper's for ecphoria and get a Rose strap?

Does that make me @ acc cap then?

And thats 6 hit /NIN or /SAM? ^^

you didnt mention your race so ill assume hume. Need 410 accuracy to cap on birds(Colibri). Not calculating any food.

To answer your question, with your current gear you should NEVER use Askar on IT mobs. When aggresor down you are in need of Cuchy Mantle, and Aurumn Feet (15 accuracy with dex mods) just to stay above 400 with Hauberk.

Short of a relic GA Askar shouldnt ever be used, and even for Bravura there are better options. Check my item sets if your curious.

I forget the exact numbers, I had them written down but can't find them.. I think you need a total of 420 Acc to hit 95% on Greater Colibri.

My math may be a little off, I'm tired atm, but here goes nothing >_>;

GA Skill: 276+16(merits) = 292 = 200+(92*0.75) = 269 Acc
Gear Accuracy: 24 = 269+24 = 293

I'll assume Hume WAR/NIN for stats (assuming this calculator is right)
DEX 71+17 = 88 = 66
293 + 66 = 359
Crab Sushi = Acc +13% = 46
359 + 46 = 405


I'll assume Hume WAR/SAM for these stats (assuming this calculator is right)
DEX 70+17 = 88 = 65
293 + 65 = 358
Crab Sushi = Acc +13% = 46
358 + 46 = 404
Hasso = 10 = 414


As /SAM, you could probably use Askar easily (assuming my numbers are right, no doubt someone who's better with the math will correct them if I'm off), but /NIN I would personally use Hauby.

/NIN for einhenjhar normally, Fliud tossing an entire alliance gets rather stressy for WHMs if were /SAM.

Im merit on /SAM was just thinking if i use Hauberk over ASkar then i cud almost full time the macro's on IT also. Thus i ask :D

Revision: Ecphoria ring. Scrap rose strap. I'll take true 6hit over 1 acc.

As for birds, 405 acc cap.

This is correct, 405 is cap on birds.

Hitetsu your calculations are off 292 combat skill is 282.7 accuracy

But unless I'm doing something wrong, that says otherwise, and 407 is cap, I know the lvl and eva is correct, because This says so

What I do know is that calc bases 337 eva and lvl 82, making 405 cap, but on 339 eva and 82 it is 407.

Aah, yes... The joys of varying mob levels... Such a HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE idea. Imo, it'd be better to have all mobs of a certain type in a certain area be the SAME level/stats like many other games.

What 1 extra stp? Only need 22 right? my previous evaluation was rose + ecphoria. I revised it to scrap rose, and keeping ecphoria

Yeah, 22 for a true 6hit.. my bad (its 23 for the perdu sickle @ 501 delay)

You indeed only need 22 sTP to 6 hit 504.
