How About Enhancing Magic?

Any tips on trying to skill this one up painlessly? lol

Or stand around for hours spamming bar-whatever!

Time. You will cap enhancing magic just by playing your job at 75. No reason to really go out of your way to cap it, especially as capping it is a complete ***.

lol dont think there a painless way to lvl that, altho i did get nice skill up's the other day with martial master super kupo power crap

i made these macros back in the day for this purpose.

Macro 1
/ma "Barwater" <me>
/wait 6
/ma "Barstone" <me>
/wait 6
/ma "Barthunder" <me>
/echo ### DONE ###

Macro 2
/ma "Baraero" <me>
/wait 6
/ma "Barfire" <me>
/wait 6
/ma "Barblizzard" <me>
/echo ### DONE ###

Just spam these on yourself.

And if you want to annoy people while doing it, position yourself in the middele of Whitegate, and spam away. ^^

i used to have macro's quite similar to those, got tired of rewriting them everytime my pc craps out on me

Enhancing Magic skills up at the rate of offensive magic if you use it on, say, NPCs in besieged. Haste 'em, for instance.

Enter Beseiged, get temp items, max out MP with drinks if available, Chainspell, use Revitalizer, then spam your spell of choice on an NPC. Die/warp, reenter Besieged and do it again.

Same thing works with Healing, though for that you can go cure undead as well.

I agree, during PTs take every opportunity to continue to cast refresh on your magic users, as well as providing members with the occasional regen spell as mp / time rotation allows. Recasting blink, & stoneskin helps as well.

You'll have it capped, just takes time as previously mentioned.
