huh, thats what it looks like in that pic. I think it looks pretty cool, despite the ideas behind this stuff
Idk, sometimes when I look at AI stuff something feels off, maybe it has something to do with how AI make decisions on things. I guess it is fun enough for people to play with fun ideas. But it is very hard to shake off the weird feelings from the image.

It's just fast food art, you make something for fun and move on with your day.
btw none of this stuff is "ai" it's just false advertising and fancy coding, the chat bots aren't AI either. Nobody has made anything even close to artificial intelligence yet.
Ehh, not a fan of big companies like MS doing these. They are extremely strict with their prompts and won't make anything even slightly NSFW. If you want a bunch of mario brothers character playing volleyball on the beach, you can't specify anyone is in a Bikini or it won't make it. You can just say the character and they might actually put them in a Bikini, but then it's the wrong color and so on. This is an issue with a lot of these AI programs, they are trying to be very SFW and it causes even intentionally SFW art to not get made sometimes.
As far as AI generators go, it's decent art when it works though.
I figured I'd try it for grins and giggles. I swear, Mithra 1b is the rarest among fan artists. Even rarer are pieces that aren't lewd. The probability of finding anything even remotely resembling my own character is practically nonexistent.
This was one of my first attempts. It's the only one that looked even close to Mithra. I tried refining it further, but it just kept getting worse.
Everything else looked too "generic catgirl" (Anime or otherwise) for my tastes. I kept trying things like "in the style of Akihiko Yoshida" and a few other similar descriptions, but no luck.

I find it frustrating that almost any time I see a picture now that at first glance I think looks cool, I feel the need to lean back in my chair and see if it's obviously a bunch of images layered on top of one another.
I'd put forward that I think these are neat tools for either pumping out a few images to use in the background, or as a starting point to show to a real artist what you're looking for. But the human eye is surprisingly good at catching the layered and images and the uncanny result.
That first one is actually pretty sick. Not proper armor by any stretch, I guess. If you want a certain set, you will deff need a real artist. I imagine one day it will be advanced enough to search out what X gear looks like and extrapolate, but I don't see that being soon. Certainly not for a game as small as FFXI.
The problem is it will refuse to add a mithra style nose to a cat girl, but I had some success with mi'qote.
One of the tricks to break the censor is to add lots of stuff, for instance glitter on skin or lots of rain or snow or fireworks etc. There are two levels, the first AI makes the image and the 2nd AI scans it for booba or whatever and you can confuse the 2nd sometimes.
The problem is it will refuse to add a mithra style nose to a cat girl, but I had some success with mi'qote.
After I discovered how impossible it was for the engine to recognize FFXI or anything associated with it, I just tried describing it as best as I could. "short-haired brunette with cat ears and a cat nose" got me pretty close. What's frustrating is that it's a lot deeper than that, as Mithra have a lot of subtle differences that are hard to even describe.
Miqo'te are literally just humans with cat ears, so it's easy to describe them. It helps too that that's typically how catfolk are portrayed in media, particularly Anime. Either exactly a human face or exactly a cat face. Prompting it to draw from either of those is easy.
Even when I've tried using the engines that you feed existing images into, it spits a generic catgirl back at me.

ayo
Okay... now that seems NSFW to me. Apparently Bikinis at the beach is porn, but body paint is okay. *** you MS.

That's easily the best description I've ever read for this stuff.
Again... that one looks sick. It's not perfect because of the nose and lack of little extra facial hair they have, but ***, it got the armor right. Unless that is not the armor you told it to put on, but it looks like a set I have seen in-game regardless.

The way that one works is you feed it an image and select a style for it to reinterpret it in. You use a slider to adjust between keeping it close to the original or to take greater liberties. For that one, I believe I had it almost completely slid towards the original image, so it basically just redrew the Assault Breastplate I've lockstyled almost 1:1.
My Corsair lockstyle. I don't hate the androgynous look, and it got the pants and boots almost perfect. Shame about the face and hands though. I think the gaping mouth was a misinterpretation of my nose lol
This turned out almost perfect. My friend's character in his signature BST AF and Vir Subligar combo. Aside from the missing dark nose, I'm very impressed at how it interpreted a Tarutaru.
I'm edging it ever closer. Now that I'm out of boosted prompts for the day, it's taking a while. But that's kinda perfect because it lets me get some work done at my day job as it does its thing in the background.
Darker skin, darker nose, face markings. I don't even know how to describe what I want any better, so I'm just re-seeding the prompts I used to get that lol
