Nobody is ever luckier than me ... i just email contact with SE Support to investigate my 2 missing item stored in my Moghouse with my moogle sleeping there everyday ... This is my 2nd time missing item exp ,last 3 years ago my Cor leg +3 missing and no replying from SE and i redo it !! now i trying to bring up my BST now my BST Collar +2 goes missing together with my PUP Collar +2 ... tell who also won't believes but that is the truth ... really very lucky man
i tossed my croc ones:/ and no SE said it couldnt be retrieved :/ yes im very lucky too
This has nothing to do with luck, items don't just disappear from your inventory because you had bad luck. You should probably stop throwing away valuable items. Maybe check if your wife is really mad at you, or if you downloaded your treasury settings from a troll.
Either way you're better off, now you don't have to play PUP or BST, so in the end it's a major win, you are very lucky in that regard.

Do you use the treasury addon to autodrop certain items? The necks share the same name as relic armor, so if you farm currency or whatever and want to autodrop old relic, you might have accidentally added the neck names there with the entire set and it autodrops when they hit your inventory.
Buy +2 neck > Store it > decide to add relic armor to droplist and neck gets caught up in it > forget > try to pull out the neck and it autodrops to the floor > zone and it's lost forever.

Years ago I zoned and items were missing from my inventory. I even waited for that time period to pass for things to load up
Oddly enough the inventory slots were still taken up.
Not sure if it was a network issue or what. I logged out and logged back in and they appeared.

SE introduced a thing where if you accidentally drop an item, but don't zone, you can have it returned from your "Recycle Bin" from within your menu. Sadly, the same cannot be said for selling items to NPCs, so you still have to be careful there.
Nothing magically disappears from your inventory. They have to be either sent somewhere or dropped, whether manually or by a third party addon.

I too also think item won't disappear ... my 1st encounter is my Cor leg +3 missing in 3 years ago SE never even reply me and i redo it .. well now 2 neck +2 missing ...

Maybe you should try an easier game. I have a feeling that this one is too difficult for you.
