Give A Moogle A Break (Quest) [Help]

Hello,

I am trying to start this quest in order to expand my Mog Safe storage, but am uncertain about how to do so. The ffxiclopedia says I need Fame 3 in my Home City and it is fame lvl 9. I am also rank 9. I have the Avatars from fame quests as well so I do not believe fame to be of issue.

So..... how do I proc/trigger the quest?

Placing a bronze bed in my Mog House does not trigger anything.

You no longer need anything fame wise.

Place the bed, zone, talk to moogle. (you might not even have to zone, but it burns the time it takes to trigger it)

I placed the bed, waited 5 mins, zoned, waited 5 mins, came back. Still nothing. :(

Impossible. Are you not in your home town?

Just in case, remove the bed and re lay it out (remove everything else too that might have a quest trigger)

I literally just did these yesterday, on brand new accounts. with absolutely zero fame.

See moogle > get tutorial on mog house > starts ACP > gives safe upgrade

Have you tried trading the power bow and beetle ring? It is possible you got the CS long time ago and just forgot it?

Also according to BGWIKI it is "Other" fame. Can follow the link here it shows you where to get the appropriate fame.

OK SO. I gained access to the quest.

Idk what I did to gain access. I beat the first mission of a moogle kupo d'etat, and started removing stuff from my mog. I ended up removing 90% of my furnishings.

Also, turns out if you have stuff in storage it won't let you remove furnishings from your Mog house. Good to know.

You won't be able to remove furniture if the slots are being used to store items in /storage.

Yeah I figured it out after google searches lol. Was getting super annoyed and thought my game was broken.

How do you do it with no fame? I just made a new character and put the bed in the mog. But it won't proc the quest for me. :(
