I Really Need Help

Hello folks, recently I started the 3 quests in ru’lude to activate the proto waypoint all over Vana’diel.
Important - I touched the one in quicksand BEFORE starting whatever quest.
So I started the first quest and got all the basic warps, got the second quest and got all the outside-areas warps.
Got to the third quest, the dungeons one, and when I try to go into quicksand to get the proto, it isn’t there, physically there is nothing to target.
Any help??

Are you sure you're at F-7 map#5, the same as map as Triarius NM? Be sure, there's a lot of maps in QSC so it is easy to get confused. You'll know your at the right map because there's a drop down hole nearby and the fount should be right above the drop section on a wall nearby. You clicking the fount beforehand has no bearing on whether it is there or not, it's an NPC
