Hi All,

Recently, I have upgraded my PC and ever since, I have been having game disconnection after 5-6 hours, due to G-sync being disabled after a while, and its been really frustrating, especially if you have multiple characters.

PC Specs:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 17763) (17763.rs5_release.180914-1434)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: System manufacturer
System Model: System Product Name
BIOS: 1302 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz (16 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 32768MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 32684MB RAM
Page File: 8209MB used, 26521MB available
Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
Current Mode: 2560 x 1440 (32 bit) (59Hz)
Native Mode: 2560 x 1440(p) (59.951Hz)
Output Type: Displayport External

I have done the following without being able solve the issue:

  • PC Power settings been changed to maximum performance

  • G-sync has been disabled

  • G-sync performance switched to maximum performance

  • Updated GPU Driver

I am using a DP port with 2560x1440 resolution and 60hz (Asus PG279Q)

Appreciate your support in advance, do you think if I switch to HDMI cable, it will be fixed?

The above photo is the message i get

Might want to upgrade the OS to 1909 aka release build 18363. Then see if your monitor’s driver also needs an update.

I had to disable Gsync for playing XI as well. It clashed with custom window moving and resizing. Never had hard crashes from it though.

I think this may be related to Nvidia scheduled tasks.

If you check Task Scheduler and see if there's any Nvidia related tasks and if the last run time coincides with your crashes.

The simplest fix is probably to use DGVoodoo.

I'd also recommend making sure Monitor Deep Sleep and Fast Boot are disabled if you are going to use G-sync but I doubt it's related to this crash.

Thank you, checked the task scheduler and seen a couple of tasks that auto updates fron Nividia daily and i disabled them.

If it doesn't work ill try DGvoodoo, then check monitor

Thanks guys
