Seeking Old Used Bassoons

Ok, complete longshot here, but hey, I'm reaching out to any network I have access to considering how rare these puppies are.

I'm a former professional bassoonist who's career ended with a diagnosis of Adult Onset Epilepsy. I've thankfully found a way to stay in the music world through being trained and apprenticing in musical instrument repair. Its an incredibly rewarding job, and I know my work has effect on both beginning young musicians, and at times, high end players. My training and work so far has been in general music repair, but of course my heart still lies with the bassoon.

I've been given the opportunity next summer to intern with a restorer of classic bassoons (most over 70 years old, pre-WWII). There's only about 3-4 such technicians in the country due to the low demand for the work. But in order to do so, I need to OWN several old, beat-up bassoons that I can use for training.

If you or your family happens to own such a thing, the condition is of ZERO importance to me- in fact, the more beat up, the better. I'm very interested in buying 3-5 old bassoons. Ideally, I'm seeking the following brands, but again, most any brand will work:

Heckel
Shreiber
Puchner
Kohlert
Fox (or their artisan line, Renard)

Bocals are not necessary but always nice if included. Please feel free to PM me regarding this if you happen to have one you're ok parting with!

....and if you have to ask "what's a bassoon", you probably don't have one. :)
