The BP+9 is slightly better, 1 BP is roughly worth 2,5mab which makes the last one ~46 mab and the 1st ~47,5 mab.

Yes you're right. I would keep the 9 as well.
Get multiple pieces of merlinic(2 is enough) and bounce back and forth, that way you can do a little bit of light testing on close ones.
