Spamming debuffs seems to work well in keeping cait semi locked into her erase move, D and VD setup was smooth as Run (Tank), Run DD(in magic def/meva set), Cor, Idris fend/frail, brd marchx2, mad, carol, Whm. Run's alternating one for all. 3-4min fight on VD. have seen Head drop on D(no th), ammo on vd (th4 tag)
So debuffa are easy to land as GEO, I assume, without macc bubbles since you stated frailty is used?
whm was spamming helix and bio2, dia gets absorbed and it resists dispel para slow ect. but helix and bio 2 were able to land easily. On vd it can cure 6, haste 2, regen v, so cor spamming dark shot is welcomed.
best to keep vallation/Valiance up(not that everyone doesnt already) caits enlight hits hard, 300+ per hit, and can spike 1500 per hit with vallation/Valiance down, on VD anyway.
??? Holy move can do 0-11000+ to party members, range is wide (24yalms?)

Puppetmaster should work well on this fight (single mob big aoe). PUPx5 COR. Level ? Holy shouldn't kill all of the automatons. Enlight will be mitigated by Steam Jacket similar to Escha-Ru'an gods.

Ninja should be an ideal tank with shadows and migawari. Red mage to plaster a ton of debuffs on.
Oh nice. Another move migawari DOESN'T work on. Not surprised.

Oh yeah... but then later we see the whole litter of cait siths with Ceithir being the only male and Naoi (female) being the leader and main consciousness of the combined cait sith in the story

I don't think they have a combined consciousness; there's just 9(?) separate ones.
August 2073 update: Cait Sith's gender finally revealed. You won't believe what happens next!

Simply increasing magic evasion definitely seems to help for ??? Holy. We would typically have like 4 deaths per fight, but after adding Attunement and Light Carol we rarely see even 1 person die now on D.

You know that the proper pronunciation of Cait Sith is Cait "Shee" (there's no good way to spell it properly and still express that the sound is "she")

Yeah 100% has something to do with resistance or M.eva.
We cleared VD with Honor March, Victory March, Blade Mad, Light Carol.
Geo frailty, entrust torpor and indi fury.
Once we added light carol everyone survived. I did stack one for all, but not sure how big of a difference it made.
Before we added Light Carol, everyone except the RUN would die. As RUN it kept saying no effect. It sometimes did damage, but only 600 max, but when Valiance dropped I did get 1 shotted for 5k. So not sure what happened there. Aegis pld got bopped for 12k in a pug so not sure if he sucked or MDT doesn't affect it, but yeah.
