Attack Calculation Change?

so im currently on a naked Rune with an earth staff equipped, 160 skill, 10 attack from /war, and 32 attack from gifts (872 jp spent) and i have 107 strength.

according to the BG wiki calculation:

Attack (2H) = 8 + Skill + Floor(3×STR÷4)

so:

8 + 160 + 80 + 10 + 32 = 290
/checkparam = 318

I'm going crazy here. can someone help me. i checked, i have no cheers active, no buffs, I'm in MH. why am i missing 28 attack. This applies to all 2 handers, i checked with gaxe, staff, gsword.

beheader +1 => 8 + 242 + 414 + 80 +10 +32 = 798
/checkparam = 875

lionheart => 8 + 269 + 440 +80 +10 +32 = 839
/checkparam = 920
(thats a 9.1% difference each time)

however with a 1h sword equipped the calculation is correct.
