If SE granted you one wish that they would do anything in game you wanted development wise what would it be?
I personally would want them to create a server with the game in its original form with no expansions or add on content and all content caped. Give players who never had a chance to play FFXI when it first came out a chance to see how great the game was at start as well as those who did play a chance to relive the old days.

But some patches were for a good reason lol.
Like unleveled MNK relic weapon would still be patched because that stuff was just crazy getting like 300 TP from using asuran fist or w/e the ws is called. Gold beds also shouldn't be fishable in moghouse...
Also all the jobs should be included in this "old version"

FFs rarely have upgraded gear coming from quests, so I have no idea hoa that would make it feel like more of a FF.

But original FFXI release was lv50 cap. The first expansion (RoZ) launched a year later and raised the cap from 50 to 75 in a series of patches. :thinking:

A singular auction house across all servers. At its peak, each server was boasting 3k characters at peak hours... nowadays outside of Asura its about 300-500 peak, and that counts bazaar mules. one auction house for all servers would really help the lifeblood of smaller servers, but never happen because SE makes too much off of transfers.

1 Wish to SE: Make a final leveling quest. You may pick 1 Job and 1 job only to level to lv 100. At lv 100, you gain extra job specific job traits (Sam next tier store tp, drk next tier att bonus, etc). All +3 gear is only equipable on lv 100 jobs. Some form of that anyway

Completely rehaul the core elements of the game, allowing for better packet-communication (with more information in there) and no POL login required anymore.
Stripping those last remnants away from the game would allow it to run much more smoothly imho

As a seasonal player that really likes this game, and every end of year i feel the urge to play again and do it for almost 4 months then break rinse repeat, i wish SE could end this game so i dont have some place to come back and move on.

As an avid Oseem spammer I wish they would add a system that took into account how many stones one spends on each piece of gear.
Make it possible to eventually get that perfect roll!

One thing they did right with alluvion skirmish gear/weapons was they made perfectionist's happy by allowing them to "finish" a piece.
