It's harder for rdm than for blm, but it can work. But anyway, you have refresh, just type /inv and party invites will magically come your way. I'm assuming you want to solo to avoid doing the mind-numbingly boring job of cure ***, but just deal with it, get to 75, then start playing around with soloing a little more.
