Adl With 117 Gear

Guys, i've just come back from a long break, and although i loved to play bst back in the abyssea era, i dont have access to any current 119ilvl equipment at the moment. Still, since i need 5 umbral marrows to upgrade my soon to be annihilator, i was wondering whether an ivl117 bst with bertha (or whatever really) and a 30 sec recast ready would be able to solo adl.

I would say it would be a very tough fight (with a lot of luck involved.) You have to be withing 5 yalms to use Pet JA and Reward. He has a nasty knockback with gravity that would make getting back to your pet fairly difficult. If you do succeed though, I'd love to see a video!
Theres a video of a 119 Bst/Dnc soloing him. You'd take considerably more damage (and your pet) than he did.

EDIT: You can, however, use trusts now unlike when he had done it.

Just remember ilv117 trust are squishy!

Could use your mog pell we just got for gear! Throwing some stones on them should help you and your pet a great deal.

ok, first attempt didnt go well :( tegmina buffet dealt approx 14k per use, which absolutely destroyed him at first, then the clones spawned and they all started spamming thundaga IV and killed me. i was thinking maybe i should pull back when they spawn and occasionally go in for a tegmina buffet, i'll give it another shot tonight!
