Beastmaster Job Points & Camps

Hello fellow beast and wilderness enthusiasts,

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to farm JP's yet and, if so, which zones/camps are offering a decent amount per mob. I spent some time last night farming Stryx birds in Marjami Ravine and found the JP's to be decent I guess (130-ish each mob if I remember correctly), but without a point of reference, I have no idea if that's a good amount per mob or not. I racked up about 3k JP's for less than an hour's worth of work.

Have not tried it yet but i hear that the points double up etc after the first hand in =O

You mean after you purchase your first point in either Familiar or Pet Accuracy, the amount of JP's you can get per mob doubles? :o

Aha, I misunderstood that.

I personally like Foret de henn. Killing crabs in the coldesack to the SE of main biv camp. Will post results when I have a chance. But was able to consistently go chain 2xx with bird familiar, Ulmia, Nourille and F. Coffin Trusts.

I go to Woh gates and kill bats and butterflies and team up with a Cor for there cor rolls double job points. I all so do outer Ra' kaznar and fight bats there and butterflys too.

New Job Point categories

Reward Effect:

Increases amount of pet's HP recovered when using Reward.
Increase amount of HP recovered by 1 percent.

Pet Attack Speed:

Increases attack speed of a called pet.
Increase pet attack speed by 1 percent.


Pretty good additions. Worth it to actually go out and grind out some job points.

Makes me wonder if those will be restrained by current caps, though. If so, the reward effect would be essentially useless.
