Empy-1 Sword? Not Making 99 Almace...so Thoughts?

I'm on the VNM stage of my sword right now. Just curious, with the recent WoE adjustments making the WoE/empy-1s...easier to complete to 99, would this be a viable alternative now? Don't really have the motivation to take almace beyond 85,maybe 90. Reason I ask.

Brunello99 only has 5 damage more than 90Almace and loses a huge amount of dex and the aftermath. So I would still do 90 Almace if I were you.

Make Almace 90, the Brunello 99 (aka fake empy) only has 4 more main DMG (over the 90 Almace) and is a higher delay weapon. Missing out on ODD, +15 DEX and faster delay with Almace, it's a waste of time/resources to make the fake empy. Also should you so choose, gathering the needed plates/cinder can be done over time.
