Shark Bite Build?

ok. don't flame my choice of weaponskill. i don't have relic/empy or plan to get whiten a distant time frame. and i'm currently dyna staticing with a friend, i go as THF and bring my WHM mule. and he comes as DRG.

i find shark bite to be the best reliable form of damage. evisceration is nice only when it crits. otherwise shark bite is doing more. opens/closes light with drakes bane. also closes stardiver with frag. also shark bite is a better choice for sneak attack,

i want to improve my DPS with more damage.
currently my WS set is ... meh... but i want to inprove that.

Stack it, a proper Evisceration build will out perform Sharkbite anyday, Dancing Edge when you can utilize SA/TA. I can't imagine Sharkbite is going to beat those two when correctly geared.

Tumbler Trunks would be better WS pants compared to Raider's. Epona's in there to maybe? Moonshade or Ghillie or something besides Suppa as well.
edit: Seem to be mostly choosing SB for it's SC's with the Drg, so thats why DE isn't an option I guess. Are you two doing DC's? Doesn't seem like an EP's HP(after proc) would even be enough to make SC's worth using.

If you gear Evis correctly, you should get better numbers out of it than Shark Bite.

Edit2: SC isn't even worth setting up. Probably waste more potential damage holding TP than the SC is actually doing. Do it when the opportunity arises, but don't rely on it.

Exactly, and one really wonderful thing about THF in dyna, terror'd mobs are perfect for some SATA action, and you'll likely have TP stored up from proccing them.

Evis. Dancing Edge if your THF is meh and going to stay meh.

Even with a really mediocre set evis outdoes shark bite nowadays. Something something crit attack bonus.

In fact, the set in OP probably puts out better numbers on evis than shark bite.

Firstly, if you can spare merits, consider 5/5 Exenterator, especially if you can't make a fake WoE weapon.

Secondly, it's hard to give you gear suggestions since we don't know what gear you have and what not. Also, what gear you consider obtainable and what not (NNI? Skadi+1?).

One thing I can suggest is, looking at making fake WoE weapon for Rudra Storm. Coins of Birth are 5-10k on my server and this can get you up to a D47, delay 201 dagger with Rudra Storm pretty cheap

Another thing I can suggest is, don't use Thief Knife, use a real dagger (in order of DPS daggers from AH/magian: Tzustes Knife, Aluh Jambia, STR Thokcha, Oxossi Facon, Lux Pugio). With TH6 (trait + feet + hands) vs TH7 you won't notice any difference in droprate.

Minor thoughtsL I'd change belt to Chuculain's Belt, Elemental Belt or Papilaka belt. Your current one lowers your damage on TA-WS. A dose of STR+ or ATK+ on top of DEX mod will help your damage.
Use something else instead of Suppanomimi for WS. Ethereal Earring, Ghilie Earring, Aesir Ear Pendant.
If you have Toci's Harness, consider using it instead of Loki's Kaftan.

If you really want to increase your DPS you could drop THF's knife for a better off-hand dagger.

ok. putting togeather an exenterator build. any suggestions for hands? so far Alruna's gloves has most AGI i can find, (if only THF can use Seiryu's Kote)

Assuming you don't have access to Thaumas, I'd focus on getting ahold of Athos's gloves, the loss of 2 agi is nothing against 7 str 7 dex and the fTP bonus on the right days.

I would drop resolution if you don't have an apoc.

I don't know if you have Thaumas access, but this is a really easy to get set without straining your inventory. You may or may not have some of the items from other jobs

Ragnarok, but there are a few really decent GS's for WAR now, if for nothing else, MS Reso will probably beat MS Upheaval with those GS.

Right, Rag. But comparing MS upheaval/reso... I think gaxe is better to go with, especially if he is planning on going for an ukon.

Fair enough, if you don't have Ragnarok's accuracy and lolScourge to SC with, Upheaval is probably a better bet especially with the insanely high damage Gaxe's out now.
