While generally my suggestion WOULD be to change jobs, I accept that someone on DRK to always supercharge Chaos is worth having, and they might as well be wielding a Ragnarok while they're doing it.

I'm sure you're thinking about resolution, i don't know why though.

These threads all make my head hurt lately.
How come people seem to accept Bravura when it's inferior to Ukon, but as soon as someone mentions Apoc it's the most stupid thing in the world? :P

I just.. ugh >_>

Capping attack is hard. No excuse for bringing a DRK.

I'm not sure if you wrote that backwards, missed the entire focus of the responses in both threads despite it being reiterated several times, or both.

That's a good question.
And that's why i suggest them to not play drk. Cause you really need resolution for Provenance and some Legion's hall. And if you're in a situation where you need to use resolution, you'd better be WAR anyway.
Once again i thought we were talking about playing drk all day everyday.

I'm in no way implying apoc is the best weapon ever but its way more competitive than people here would have you believe lol after reading lolapoc for months before building mine honestly expectations werent too high but I 99'd mine, I have virtually every piece of apoc drk gear bar new abj stuff and I can put up good parses against other well geared, good players.. if you only 95 it and wear terrible gear yeah apoc is gonna do really bad comparatively

The people saying Bravura is good for anything were wrong too. I never said that playing DRK was a good decision, but if you're already going to play it, might as well max it out with Resolution.

I don't think anybody has seriously claimed that Apoc doesn't do damage, and to represent statements made as such is misrepresentation - which, ironically, is the source of the initial disagreement. You could copy-paste Minjo's post from the Bravura thread and change a couple words and it would fit perfectly here.

I'm not going to begrudge someone for having Apoc and I'm not going to invite any old Ragnarok owner over every single Apoc owner, but I am going to disagree when Apoc is portrayed as a game-changing beats-all weapon for 99 cap DRK. This isn't 75 cap anymore.

Well i need to check my buffs when i'm doing PW, cause the last parse i saw made my eyes bleed. My apoc is 95 though.

"Balance". Apoc would have been overpowered otherwise.

Is DNC a good choice? No.
Do you like to play it? Yes.
Will i tell you to play a job you don't like? No.
But if your goal is to be the almighty DD i'll tell you to play WAR.

You're trying to find disagreements where there are none.

Though I can't say I've actually seen Sylow on DNC since coming to Fenrir, but that's his choice moreso than mine/anyone else's.

DRK needs more attack like a hole in the head. Now an impetus type effect might be something to drool over.

Every time I try to get on DNC, Austar wants Embrava.
